This looks like a great recipe for a boneless turkey breast. Yummy!!! I have never heard of the online grocery pickup service from Walmart but really love the idea. This I am going to have to try if they have it here in our area. Thanks for sharing the information and the recipe.

Simple wholesome ingredients is all you need for this recipe! When purchasing your turkey, general rule of thumb is 1/2 lb of turkey breast per person, so purchase accordingly to the number of guests you will be serving.

Stuff with garlic: In a medium roasting pan or Dutch oven, place turkey breast and make 10-15 inserts with a paring knife. Stick garlic slice into each hole until you run out of garlic.

Bake uncovered for 30 minutes per 1 lb: I cooked 3 pounds turkey breast roast for 90 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part of the breast reads 160 degrees F.

Refrigerate cooked turkey roast whole or sliced in an airtight container for up to a week. Leftover turkey is so good cold on its own or in a sandwich. Or reheat just until warm with gravy. This recipe is so versatile!

Freeze leftovers sliced or cut into bite sized pieces in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Thaw in refrigerator and then use leftovers for soup, as a protein in a salad for lunch, or for turkey tacos!

No doubt, there's something festive about serving - and carving - an entire turkey at the table. ? But for intimate Thanksgiving (or Christmas) gatherings, cooking just the breast is the ideal solution. It's the perfect size for four people.

Another advantage of roasting just the breast: When you bake it by itself it's easier to make sure it comes out juicy. When you roast the whole bird, despite your best intentions, the white meat often turns out too dry.

Our fresh boneless turkey breast is tender, convenient and perfect for a smaller gathering. Our turkey breasts are fresh, never frozen, and ethically raised with plenty of room to roam. Requires cooking.

Paulina sources our turkey breasts from Amish Country Young Fresh Turkeys which are all natural with zero additives. They are raised in large buildings, cage free, in ideal conditions. The feed is pesticide free and consists of corn, soy, minerals and vitamins. No growth hormones or steroids are given to the turkeys and they are antibiotic free. These standards are higher than the USDA regulations for all natural.

After several of you asked about items for school lunches, we thought we would add Misty Knoll's Boneless Breast of Turkey. So much healthier than processed meats bought at the deli counter, and more reasonable too. It also works really well sliced cold in salads. Try Soy, Ginger and Honey for an Asian taste, or Salt, Pepper, Oregano, and Lemon for a Mediterranean flavor. These turkeys are healthy and happy birds you can feel good about. They come from Misty Knoll Farms in New Haven VT (just northeast of Middlebury) from the same farmer who supplies Farmers To You families with outstanding chicken.Misty Knoll starts the turkeys in a large brooder house, sheltered from the elements, until they are capable of withstanding Vermont's cool nights. Then the flocks are moved to open barns with plenty of room and sunlight, whole grains and fresh water. Allowed to grow naturally to size, these turkeys are robust and meatier than other turkeys found at the supermarket - naturally grown birds take longer to mature, but the resulting flavor is well worth it.Misty Knoll Farms is a family-owned and operated farm producing the finest naturally raised free-range turkeys available from Vermont. Farmers to you is pleased to offer this wonderful product to Boston area families.

Maybe I'm the only FTY member who would admit this, but I hate cooking. I do, however, like to feel my family nutritious homemade food! The slow cooker (crock pot) is my beloved friend. For lazy cooks, a turkey breast makes for a delicious family meal with plenty of leftovers WITHOUT too much effort. Just brown the seasoned meat in a large skillet first (and carmelize some onion or shallot in that same pan before you wash it), dump it all in a large Crock Pot for 6 hours, and you've got meat just as tasty as Thanksgiving with a fraction of the work (or cleanup.) I make this at least once a month. I often throw in whatever root vegetables I've got, but, even cooked alone, the turkey turns out moist and tasty. I've cooked the breast alone more often, but, as my kids are growing into teens, now I typically add a package of turkey thighs to keep up with their ravenous appetites. You will get richer flavor if you cook these together!

I'm trying to eat healthier and this turkey breast has been key to many of the meals I'm learning to make. I've roasted it as a whole, I've divided into smaller pieces and used different flavors for different dishes, I've cooked it in the slow-cooker, I've used it in soups, salads, and on it's own. I had no idea how much easier it would be to make healthy meals when there's this turkey as a go-to in the fridge. I'm very grateful to have this as a staple, thank you!

This is a delicious turkey breast. I first run a spice paste (from Ina Garten's Herb roasted turkey recipe), place the breast on a rack in a roasting pan, and then pour at least one cup of white wine into the bottom of the pan.

Free-range birds need to be cooked at a lower temp than conventional birds in order to turn out tender; I have found that 300 degrees for about 1 hr 15 min or until thermometer reads 165 is just right for this Misty Knoll turkey breast. I slice it after cooling, pour the pan juices over, and we snack/lunch on it all week.

Roasted Boneless Turkey Breast is a great alternative for those who don't want to roast the whole turkey. Boneless turkey breast always turns out moist and delicious tasting every time!

This is a great idea and it does look delicious! I can just taste the turkey sandwiches with the leftovers. My family insists on a whole bird so they can have a little light and a little dark meat ?

Boneless turkey breast is a delicious alternative to chicken, and it makes a great substitute when you don't have time to cook an entire turkey. Turkey breasts usually weight between two and ten pounds, providing plenty of meat for a crowd. They're easiest to cook in the oven or with a slow cooker. The turkey's tender white meat makes a great base for any type of seasoning mix.

You'll savor every bite of this boneless cooked Turkey Breast. All white meat, carved in one piece, maple-cured and cob-smoked the traditional Vermont way with no water or fillers added. Choose spiral-sliced for your convenience with maple-glazed flavor for your family's enjoyment. Delicious by itself, or an excellent choice for recipes, sandwiches or buffets.

This turkey was delicious. The only problem I had was the heating time per pound didn't give us the right internal temperature. We heated it longer and not one ounce was dry. Well worth the money because you don't throw any of it away.
